Democratic nominee for Congress in NY-10 Brad Lander is speaking out against the treatment of the very young children who are being held in detention and forced to appear before a judge without a lawyer. Many of these children have relatives here in the states, but the government is refusing to allow them to reunify with their family. Lander says that fortunately, top-rate lawyers are stepping up to provide them with legal representation through the recently launched Children’s Due Process Project.
